To check on your child’s access, go to the St. Lucie County School District website. A link is provided in this post and under the blogroll on the left hand margin if you scroll down.

Instructions:
Click on the Students tab.

Underneath the word “Resources” click on the first link:

    Skyward Student Access

The screen will show a login and password box. Enter your student’s log in number and password.

The log in number should be their 56# (if they have been a student in this county prior to this year-you may already know it).

The password is NEW this year. It is NOT their lunch number or birthdate.
The password is CASE sensitive. You must type it in exactly as written.

Almost every student on the 6th grade Talons team has been given this information. You may find it taped to the inside front cover of their planner.

PARENTS: You will be receiving something called “family access” on the new gradebook at some point. Until then, please copy and save your child’s log-in number and password. This will enable you to see your child’s grades in every subject for every teacher any time, day or night, where you have access to the internet.

I think you will love this new web-based grading system, Skyward, once it is fully up and running. It is far superior to the 1980’s system the district was using prior to this year.

Some teachers may choose to use this system to communicate with you, so be aware of this possibility as the year progresses.
