The attendance is being recorded by SOMS teachers in the “mainframe” computer this year for the first time during each period.
Parents should be able to view their student’s attendance record by computer via the parent portal.
Be aware that sometimes the mainframe computer is down, and attendance may not be entered until the day’s end in these instances.
